Fast & Aesthetic®
Same Day Dental Treatments
What Is the Fast & Aesthetic® Implant System?
The Fast & Aesthetic® system is a treatment approach that, in suitable patients, combines implant placement with the preparation of fixed temporary teeth on the same day or within 24 hours. This allows patients to continue the healing period with aesthetic, fixed temporary teeth without having to remain without teeth for an extended period following implant placement.
Treatment begins with a detailed clinical assessment and digital planning. From a single missing tooth to multiple missing teeth and full-arch implant treatments, the appropriate approach is determined according to bone structure, oral health and individual treatment needs. In suitable cases, the aim is to complete implant placement and provide fixed temporary teeth on the same day, helping to support appearance, speech and basic chewing function during the healing period.
The Fast & Aesthetic® Treatment Process
Fast & Aesthetic® treatment begins with a detailed examination and digital planning. In suitable cases, implant placement and the preparation of fixed temporary teeth can be completed on the same day, allowing the patient to leave the clinic with their new temporary teeth. The treatment progresses through carefully planned stages, from the initial assessment through to the placement of the final teeth.
Examination & 3D Planning
An oral examination, panoramic X-ray and, where necessary, 3D tomography are used to assess the bone structure and planned implant sites.
Anaesthesia & Surgical Preparation
Local anaesthesia is administered and the treatment area is prepared. The implant site is then made ready for the surgical procedure.
Implant Placement
The implants are placed in the planned positions and their suitability for same-day temporary teeth is assessed.
Preparation of Temporary Teeth
Fixed temporary teeth are prepared according to the patient's dental structure, bite and aesthetic characteristics.
Placement of Temporary Teeth
In suitable cases, the temporary teeth are fixed to the implants, allowing the patient to leave the clinic with their new teeth on the same day.
Healing & Final Teeth
Once the implants have completed the necessary healing period, digital impressions are taken and preparation of the final teeth begins.
When Can Fast & Aesthetic® Be Used?
Key Benefits of the Fast & Aesthetic® System
The Fast & Aesthetic® system is designed to make implant treatment more comfortable and easier to integrate into everyday life in suitable cases.
Same-Day Temporary Teeth
In suitable cases, fixed temporary teeth can be prepared and fitted on the same day as implant placement.
Reduced Time Without Teeth
Fixed temporary teeth can reduce the need to remain without teeth for an extended period during healing.
Appearance & Function
Temporary teeth help support appearance, speech and basic chewing function throughout the healing period.
Return to Everyday Life
Same-day fixed temporary teeth are designed to help patients continue their social and professional lives without an extended interruption.
Healing After Fast & Aesthetic® Treatment
Although fixed temporary teeth can be prepared on the same day with Fast & Aesthetic® treatment, the implants still need time to integrate with the surrounding bone. During this period, it is important to use the temporary teeth carefully, maintain good oral hygiene and attend regular follow-up appointments.
Once the implant healing period is complete, the temporary teeth are removed and preparation of the final teeth begins. In this way, treatment that starts with same-day fixed temporary teeth is completed after healing with more durable final restorations designed for long-term use.
Important Considerations After Fast & Aesthetic® Treatment
Following treatment, there are several important points to consider to help ensure the safe use of same-day fixed temporary teeth and support healthy implant healing.
Use Your Temporary Teeth Carefully
Same-day temporary teeth support appearance and everyday function, but they should not be used in the same way as final teeth. Particularly during the early stages of healing, avoiding hard or difficult-to-chew foods is recommended.
Maintain Good Oral Hygiene
Keeping the surgical area and temporary teeth clean is an important part of the healing process. Oral care methods recommended by your dentist should be followed regularly.
Avoid Excessive Pressure on the Implants
Excessive chewing forces while the implants are integrating with the bone may negatively affect healing. Your dentist's recommendations regarding diet and chewing should therefore be followed while using the temporary teeth.
Attend Your Follow-Up Appointments
Regular follow-up appointments allow the healing of the implants, fit of the temporary teeth and bite relationship to be assessed. Small adjustments can be made where necessary as treatment progresses.
Be Mindful of Smoking
Smoking can negatively affect the healing of tissues around dental implants. It is particularly important to follow your dentist's recommendations regarding smoking during the healing period.
Allow Time Before the Final Teeth
Temporary teeth are designed for use during the healing period. Once sufficient integration between the implants and bone has been achieved, preparation and placement of the final teeth can begin.
