MSC. DT. Aykut Koşun was born in Konya in 1984 and spent his childhood in different places due to his father’s professional duty. He started his academic career at Atatürk University Faculty of Dentistry in 2002 and successfully graduated in 2007. In 2008, he started to work as a research assistant in the department of endodontics and took an active role in the academic field and carried out various studies for 2 years.
After completing his military service in 2010 with the rank of J. Dental Lt. After completing his military service in 2010 with the rank of J. Dental Lieutenant, he has been working at Diş 212 Clinics since 2011 and is also the co-founder of the clinic. In his professional career, he has gained significant experience by focusing especially on implant applications, implant prostheses, aesthetic applications and smile design. Koşun, who has an advanced level of English, is actively involved in the sector with his memberships in Turkish Dental Association (TDP), Aesthetic Dentistry Academy Association (EDAD) and Chalcedon Dentistry Workshop.
Having participated in many seminars, courses and congresses in Turkey and abroad, Koşun successfully completed his Advanced Surgical Training at Frankfurt Goethe University Faculty of Dentistry in Germany in 2014. In 2016, he received the title of ‘Master of Oral Implantology’ by presenting his thesis titled ‘Comparison of Criteria in Immediate (Early) Loaded Implants’ at Guglielmo Marconi University Tuscan Institute of Stomatology.
He continued his studies in London for a year between 2021-2022 and is currently actively working in Dental 212 Clinics.
