Implants are made of materials that have no side effects for the organism and have been subjected to intensive research for many years. It is not possible for the body to produce antigens against them and reject them, as is the case with heart and kidney transplants.
It is not possible to guarantee anything that enters your mouth and is under your control. To the extent that your health status is guaranteed after an organ transplant or heart surgery, the same applies to implant applications. However, we can tell you that we will endeavour to place the implant as perfectly as possible. We can give you the necessary information about the care of your implant and examine it if necessary. We will do our best to ensure that the implants are successful, but you should make the same effort.
This time depends on your condition, your needs and the work to be done. A single operation can take from half an hour to several hours. The whole treatment can be finished in one operation, or it may require a series of operations and appointments. Complete recovery may take months.
We usually recommend rest on the day of the operation and for one or two days afterwards. There may be swelling, pain and bruising at the operation site, but you will never be toothless during the treatment. You can decide on the length of your leave from work yourself.
